Understanding that we are God-created beings is the first step toward helping others when things go wrong:
Psalms 139:13-16
13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s
womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works
are wonderful, I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
16 your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were
written in your book before one of them came to be.
NIV
When a problem develops with a man-created object, we seek out those who made it in the first place as the primary source for correcting difficulties. If your automobile has a problem, whom do you look to for repairs? Seeking God is the answer to our problems.
Pastoral Counseling Center will help you become a Christian counselor by teaching you a method of counseling that is Biblically sound, highly effective and not difficult to master. Called Creation Therapy, or "Temperament Therapy" it is based on discerning the inborn temperament God provides each of us when we are created. The nature of a person's temperament can hold the key to helping people find Godly solutions to their problems.
The
students of Pastoral Counseling Center come from all walks of life,
Many are already ordained ministers. Some are young, others mature
and retired from secular work. The primary requirement for
becoming a Christian Counselor is having a desire in your heart to
really help others. There are questions on our application that
will help us understand your history. While not everyone who applies is
admitted, the primary requirements are having a servant's heart, a
willingness to help others, and a call from God. If you have
truly been called, God will make your path.
